THE UNCHANGING LOVE OF GOD
"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor My covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you. —Isaiah 54:10 (NIV)
Fear is a spirit—the very first spirit to manifest and trouble humanity after disobedience to God. This is evident when Adam responded to God: "He answered, 'I heard You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.'"—Genesis 3:10 (NIV)
Adam hid from God’s presence because he was afraid—he was filled with fear. Why was Adam afraid? After sinning, the enemy infiltrated his thoughts and spoke words that altered Adam’s perception of God. Based on what was happening in his life at that moment, Adam began to see God as an enemy. These lies created hostility between Adam and God, making Adam believe he was no longer acceptable before Him because of His nakedness.
That’s why God asked Adam, "Who told you that you were naked?" God knew there were voices Adam had listened to—voices that told him, “You’re not worthy before God because you’re naked.” Notice something crucial here: Adam didn’t hide because of the sin he committed but because he was naked. He openly admitted this. Furthermore, Adam didn’t ask God for mercy or forgiveness.
Why didn’t Adam ask for forgiveness?
It’s because he had already given up hope. The enemy had distorted his perception of God to the point where Adam felt utterly unworthy and convinced that God no longer wanted him. To Adam, asking for forgiveness seemed pointless. He no longer saw God as a merciful and loving Father. But the truth is, our God is not like that. He is full of compassion and love for us. He never changes, and His mercy toward us is everlasting.
This is why today’s Word speaks to you of his commitment to love you. Don’t let the enemy deceive you based on the circumstances in your life, the mistakes you’ve made, or the sins you’ve committed. Don’t believe that God’s goodness has departed from you. Let me assure you: God has not changed. He still loves you, and His goodness remains upon you. Through the covenant of peace in Jesus Christ, God will never leave you. He is always with you, in all situations, ready to save and help you.
Prayer: Lord, I thank You for Your goodness and mercy that are with me at all times. Amen.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE MEDIATOR BETWEEN YOU AND GOD—NO ONE ELSE
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus."—1 Timothy 2:5 (NIV)
There are many teachings and perspectives that Christians have adopted, which contradict the truth about the ministry of reconciliation found in Christ. Today, I will address a few points to clear up confusion and misunderstandings about this vital ministry.
First, the Word of God says:
"All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation." —2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NIV)
From these verses, it is clear that the origin of reconciliation is God Himself. It is God who desires to reconcile with you, which is why He sent Jesus to carry out this reconciliation. Jesus, in turn, has sent His servants and works through them to reconcile you to God.
It is wrong to think that God hates you or that He hated humanity because they sinned, and so Jesus had to step in to plead for mercy from an angry God who hates you. That is not the case! God loves you and desires to reconcile with you so that you can become His child, dwell in Him, and He in you. The scripture highlights something critical: "God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people's sins against them." God does not Delight in judging or condemning you because of your sins.
Unfortunately, some teachings and messages focus on counting people's sins against them. Listening to such preachers, you may feel condemned, unworthy, and incapable of experiencing God’s grace and love. They present God as angry and vengeful. However, the true Gospel is one of reconciliation, revealing God’s love and mercy.
So why is 1 Timothy 2:5 important? I want you to understand this: there is only one mediator between you and God—Jesus Christ. No one should make you feel unworthy before God. If others judge you or count your sins against you, remember that Jesus is your mediator, and there is no other. If there are so-called God's ministers who contradict this truth, they are not doing God's work. Do not listen to them.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your ministry of reconciliation. I now accept and believe in the reconciliation You accomplished on the cross, knowing You do not count my sins against me. Amen.

MAKE GOD YOUR DEFENDER
"For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; it is He who will save us." —Isaiah 33:22 (NIV)
We had reflected on this verse and learned about God as our defender and His ability to fight for us. However, in our real-life experiences, there are times when we face challenges and do not see God stepping in to help us. Many Christians complain or grumble against God because He did not defend them when they needed him.
The issue, however, is not with God—it lies with us. That is why today, God has sent me to explain how to make Him your defender. The first and most crucial thing we cannot ignore or downplay is sin. I am not judging you; this is the truth. In Isaiah 59:1-3, the Word of God says:
"Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear. For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things."
As you continue to read the following verses, they describe the actions of these people that distanced them from God. The passage concludes by saying:
"So justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but all is darkness; for brightness, but we walk in deep shadows." (Isaiah 59:9)
For God to defend you and grant you justice, your actions must align with His commands. If you do not follow His instructions, God cannot stand on your side. Take time today to examine yourself and evaluate your actions. God is not deceived; He knows your heart and every step you take. You cannot claim to be righteous while secretly engaging in evil practices.
Therefore, repent and turn away from sin, and you will see God helping you. Abandon your wicked ways. If you want God to be your defender, start by obeying Him, then rely on Him fully. Do not depend on your strength or abilities. Do not let pride hinder you; instead, humble yourself before God and follow His guidance.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask for Your forgiveness in every area where I have failed to obey and trust You. Today, I make You my judge and defender. Amen.

Union in Our Families: Building a Foundation of Love and Peace
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11 NIV
Unity is the cornerstone of a strong and healthy family. In today’s fast-paced world, misunderstandings, conflicts, and distractions can strain familial bonds. Applying the principles from 2 Corinthians 13:11 can help families strengthen their relationships and foster a sense of belonging and harmony.
1. Rejoice Together
Joy is contagious, and celebrating milestones and successes as a family creates lasting memories and strengthens bonds. Family traditions, such as weekly dinners or prayers and fellowship, provide opportunities to rejoice together. Even during challenges, finding reasons to be grateful—such as good health or small victories—can uplift the entire household.
2. Strive for Full Restoration
Disagreements and misunderstandings are inevitable in families. However, Paul’s call to “strive for full restoration” reminds us of the importance of reconciliation. Parents, siblings, and extended family members should prioritize resolving conflicts rather than letting them fester. For example, a simple apology, a heartfelt conversation, or even seeking God's guidance can restore broken relationships.
3. Encourage One Another
Encouragement plays a vital role in building strong families. Parents can affirm their children’s efforts, fostering self-esteem and resilience. Siblings can cheer each other on in their endeavors, creating a support system within the family. A culture of encouragement helps family members feel valued and strengthens their commitment to one another.
4. Be of One Mind
Unity in a family is achieved when members share common values and goals. While individual differences are inevitable, aligning on core principles—such as love, respect, and shared responsibilities—creates a sense of purpose. For instance, families can work together to maintain traditions, support each other’s aspirations, and collaborate on long-term goals like education, savings, or caregiving.
5. Live in Peace
Peace is the fruit of intentional actions such as patience, understanding, and empathy. A peaceful home allows every member to feel secure and cherished. Avoiding unnecessary arguments, practising active listening, and creating opportunities for relaxation and bonding contribute to a harmonious environment.
Practical Steps for Family Unity
Regular Communication: Honest, open discussions prevent misunderstandings and build trust.
Shared Activities: Cooking, playing games, or engaging in hobbies together fosters connection.
Prayer: Seeking God’s guidance through praying together as a family strengthens spiritual bonds.
Forgiveness: Letting go of past mistakes and extending grace ensures long-term harmony.
When families strive for unity, the "God of love and peace" blesses them with His presence. Let us commit to nurturing unity in our homes and creating spaces where love, trust, and understanding flourish.

IS GOD WITH YOU?
"Seek [and long for] good and not evil, so that you may live; and so may the Lord God of hosts be with you, just as you have said!" Amos 5:14 (AMP)
Many people claim that God is with them and that He enables them to accomplish things in their lives. However, this is often just a habitual expression, lacking genuine truth. Why do I say this? It’s because many who make such claims neither truly know God nor His character.
The first characteristic of God is holiness. He says in His Word:
"For thus says the high and exalted One, He who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: ‘I dwell on the high and holy place, but also with the contrite and humble in spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to restore the heart of the contrite.’" Isaiah 57:15 (AMP)
Do not let anyone deceive you with empty words, claiming they believe in God and that He is with them when their actions contradict this. Sometimes, it is evident even to us that God cannot be present in certain places or involved in certain actions. For example, there is a tendency many of us might relate to: someone sneaks out of work early and silently prays, "God, help me not to get caught," or someone steals and prays, "God, be with me so I won’t get caught." God cannot be a part of such acts.
This behavior starts with small things and grows into larger issues, leading to a false sense that God is with us in everything we do, even when it dishonors Him. This is a flawed belief.
Today's Word instructs us to seek good so that we may live, and live in his presence. Many lives are in disarray, and people face misfortunes because they lack God’s presence. They assume God is with them, but He is not.
If you desire to truly have God’s presence with you, do good, live a life that pleases Him, and avoid the things He has forbidden. To God, there is no such thing as small or big sins—sin is sin. Our God is holy, and He dwells in a holy place.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to live a life of doing good and walking in holiness so that Your presence will always be with me. Amen.

THE POWER OF MEDITATING ON GOD’S WORD
"He who pays attention to the word [of God] will find good, and blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is he who trusts [confidently] in the Lord." Proverbs 16:20 (AMP)
God told Joshua, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read and meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful." Joshua 1:8 (AMP)
The Book of the Law was the "instruction manual" or the constitution of Israel. These instructions provided guidance for success under God's direct authority. It was vital for Joshua to study and understand what was written in it. However, God gave Joshua an additional task—He commanded him to meditate on the Word day and night and to obey it.
Today’s verse says: "He who pays attention to the word [of God] will find good." Your success is directly tied to how seriously you take God’s Word—meditating on it and obeying it. Since you were created by God, and the entire universe is His creation, you cannot truly understand how to succeed unless you listen to Him.
At certain points in life, you may feel uncertain, unsure of what to do, or have questions with no clear answers. When this happens, your solution is to turn to the Word of God. As you meditate on God’s Word, you gain clarity and insight. This light guides your decisions, helping you do the right thing, which brings blessings and success into your life. Whatever you are going through right now, God has something to say about it, and it is probably good; it is in the Bible, and if you read it, he will guide you to the exact Word you need in your life right now.
Meditating on the Word builds your understanding, and this understanding strengthens your faith. You cannot have faith in something you do not understand. The verse continues: "And blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is he who trusts [confidently] in the Lord." Meditating on God’s Word leads to understanding, understanding builds faith, and faith gives you the boldness to receive anything you need from God.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your Word. I ask for the grace and strength to meditate on it daily so that I may receive Your goodness in my life. Amen.
DON'T DOUBT YOURSELF, YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD
"His master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand." Genesis 39:3 (NIV)
The first thing I want you to notice in this verse is that "There is a special grace and ability God has placed in you." This understanding will help you overcome self-doubt, lack of confidence, and uncertainty about your potential. Here, we see Potiphar recognizing the power and blessing of God upon Joseph. So, even if you don’t see the ability in yourself, others have already noticed it.
Failing or encountering setbacks doesn’t mean you lack ability. Not at all. Joseph’s life was full of challenges and rejection. His brothers rejected him, plotted to kill him, and eventually sold him into slavery. Despite all this, when he arrived in Egypt as a slave, his employer recognized that everything Joseph did was blessed.
Joseph was a person who made others’ ventures successful, while his own life remained stagnant. Even in prison, he interpreted dreams for others, which led to their success, but he remained behind bars. Was it because he lacked ability or wasn’t blessed by God? Absolutely not!
Today, I remind you that God has a purpose for your life, and in His timing, you will prosper. Believe in yourself and the abilities within you, even if your current circumstances are not ideal. What is required of you is diligence and patience—never give up on yourself.
Joseph never gave up. Even when tempted by Potiphar’s wife, he refused to sin. He could have established a relationship with her to gain wealth and material benefits, but he chose not to. Sadly, some people, discouraged by delayed success, turn to destructive habits such as drinking, immorality, or theft.
Today, believe that there is power within you, and trust that God will bring success in His time. Don’t be afraid to start something new out of fear of failure. God is with you and will make you prosper.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank you for the blessings and ability you have placed in me. Help me to have confidence in myself and never to give up. Amen

You Are Not a Burden to God He hears your prayers
"For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; nor has He hidden His face from him; but when he cried to Him, He heard." (Psalms 22:24, NKJV)
Yesterday, we learned about how to regain strength in prayer, and we learned that the way to do so is to simply decide to start praying. A person who prays doesn’t need any special qualifications before God. All you need is the willingness to pray to Him. The key is to be honest before God—open your heart, express the truth and reality of your life, and then ask for what you need.
When it comes to prayer, there is often a challenge, especially when you don’t know how to pray as you should. This challenge exists for everyone, regardless of their spiritual maturity. Even those who are spiritually mature sometimes struggle to find the right words to pray. A great example is Jesus Christ. Though He was the Son of God and without sin, when it came time for Him to face the cross, His prayer was brief because he didn't know which words to use. So he just prayed for God’s will, and he prayed; "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." (Matthew 26:39, NKJV)
Jesus repeated this same prayer three times, showing the intense struggle He was experiencing. This demonstrates that challenges in prayer are not new—they even affected Jesus. So, don’t be afraid or discouraged.
Today's Scripture offers incredible encouragement and reassurance. It begins by saying, " For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted." This means you can be confident that God never despises anyone who is in trouble. Even if you don’t know how to pray well, your pain and suffering are significant to Him. God takes your struggles seriously.
It also says, "Nor has He hidden His face from him." Your problems have never irritated or bothered God. Human beings may see you as a burden when you approach them for help, but God is not like that. Every time you come to Him, He receives you with love—again and again. God never grows tired of you or your issues. So, don’t feel like you’re wearing Him out with your prayers.
Lastly, the verse says, "But when he cried to Him, He heard." Have you ever gone to someone for help, only for them to send someone else to tell you they’re unavailable—even though they are? That’s like hiding their face from you. But God doesn’t do that. In fact, He has commanded us to pray without ceasing. Every time you call on Him, He listens. Even if He doesn’t respond immediately, know that He is working on your situation. This verse should give you even more confidence to pray to God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come before You today, knowing You hear my prayers. Amen.

HOW TO REGAIN THE STRENGTH TO PRAY
"Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart." Luke 18:1
Let me explain how Satan operates: He pushes you into doing things that drain your confidence to pray, or he brings difficulties to discourage you to the point where you feel there is no reason to pray. Then, on the day you finally decide to pray, he places guilt in your heart, convincing you that you are unworthy to approach God, so you end up staying the same.
Because you haven’t prayed for a long time or haven’t attended church for a while, you may feel distant from God and think you’re unworthy to ask for His help in your trouble. But this is not what God says. What he said is:
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
In my own life, there was a time when I went through a very difficult season, and my heart grew heavy when it came to prayer. For a long time, I lacked the strength and motivation to pray. But one day, by faith, I decided to pick up the Bible and said to myself, "I must pray," and I asked God to speak to me through His Word. I opened the Bible randomly, and my eyes fell on Isaiah 45:22, which says:
"Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other."
After reading this, I knelt down and prayed bitterly, saying, "I am looking to You and calling on You from the ends of the earth because I have been so far away from You. Please save me and lift me out of this state." For three consecutive days, I repeated this prayer and those words. Each time I prayed, I felt a lightness in my heart, and God restored the strength to pray within me. From then on, I prayed fervently.
Child of God, do not give up to the point where you can no longer pray. Let that heaviness, guilt or condemnation be your first prayer point. Begin by praying for his mercy and grace and you will see God ministering to you. He has said:
"The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." (John 6:37)
God will never reject you if you come to Him in prayer.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your love for me. I pray that You give me the courage to pray at all times with the help of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.

SURELY
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." - Psalm 23:6 (NKJV)
This is a declaration and confession of victory and faith. David spoke these words as he celebrated God’s faithfulness in providing for him, meeting his needs, and protecting him. This verse carries profound meaning about the relationship between a believer and God. You can also proclaim these words if you truly believe in and rely on God.
Because of his relationship with God, David had assurance about the journey of his life on earth. That is why he began with the word "Surely." You too, as a believer, should have this confidence—that God will not change or abandon you in your journey of faith.
Now let us look at the meaning of "Goodness" and "Mercy."
God's Goodness represents His unchanging nature to bless, provide, and care for us. It reflects His generosity, favor, and the gifts we do not deserve.
God’s Mercy is His compassion and love for us. Though we fall short every day, His mercy forgives us, restores us, and spares us from the punishment we deserve.
Therefore, David was confident and bold to openly declare that God’s goodness and mercy would follow him. He was not searching for them; they were already present with him at all times. You, too, have no reason to fear that misfortune will come your way. God has already accepted you as His child. Now, it is up to you to have assurance in your heart about His goodness and mercy.
David concludes by saying, " And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." He was confident that all his days would be spent in God’s presence. Yet today, some Christians, even those who are born again, hesitate to answer confidently if asked, "Are you sure you will go to heaven?" They fear that affirming their faith might seem presumptuous.
This pervasive fear stems from false teachings that cause believers in Jesus to live with uncertainty and dread. Today, let this verse strengthen your confidence and faith, and boldly proclaim these words:
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
DILIGENCE AND COMMITMENT
"Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress." — 1 Timothy 4:15
These words were written by Apostle Paul to Timothy, a young leader of the church in Ephesus after he had given him guidance on how to lead and shepherd the church effectively. However, these words are not just for Timothy or young people alone; they are for everyone who has been taught how to carry out their God-given assignments effectively. That includes you. Now, here are the key points you need to keep in mind:
1. DILIGENCE
When Paul says, "Be diligent in these matters," he is giving a primary principle for anything you undertake. Without diligence, any task you do will be handled carelessly, and you will not accomplish much.
Diligence is especially required when you face challenges and opposition. Nothing good can be achieved in this world without encountering resistance. Diligence gives you the drive to overcome these obstacles, enabling you to keep trying until the task is successfully completed.
2. COMMITMENT
When Paul says, "Give yourself wholly to them," he emphasizes the need to approach your work selflessly, without focusing solely on personal gain. Especially when you know that God has assigned you the task, commitment becomes essential.
Commitment means being willing to pay the price and serve others sacrificially without expecting any immediate reward. This doesn’t mean God won’t reward you; in fact, He will because every good deed will receive a reward from Him.
However, it’s important to note that your reward will come from God, not from people. When God sends you to do His work, whether it’s for your family, friends, or ministry, don’t look to those people for repayment. Often, they may repay your good with ingratitude and evil, but God will bless you abundantly. Therefore, keep your eyes fixed on God, not on people.
By doing so, God’s glory will be revealed through you, and people will come to know Him through your actions. At the same time, your devotion to God will become evident to all.
Prayer: Lord, I ask for Your strength to uphold the good values You have taught me, so I may carry out Your work effectively. Amen.

THINGS TO CONSIDER TO ACHIEVE YOUR VISION
"The LORD answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it." — Habakkuk 2:2
Perhaps you are one of those people who are constantly switching from one thing to another in life. Today, you might find them doing one job, tomorrow they’re doing another. Or today, they’re in one business, and tomorrow they’ve shifted to farming. It’s hard to pinpoint what they do or what their purpose truly is.
This often stems from not knowing one’s purpose on earth and lacking clear goals. Today, I’ll teach you four important things about identifying your purpose and how to achieve your goals.
1. It is God who will give you a vision of what you are meant to do.
This vision does not always come as a dream while you sleep but rather as an inner drive or something you feel deeply capable of doing.
2. You must understand the vision God has given you.
If you misinterpret your vision, you won’t fulfill God’s purpose. Instead, you’ll end up doing things outside of the intended vision.
3. Write your vision down.
If you don’t write your vision, it becomes easy to abandon it and start something else, especially when you face challenges.
4. Understand that every goal and vision has its appointed time.
God is neither late nor early. Knowing this will help you develop patience and perseverance. At times, it will also give you the drive to do what is necessary to fulfill your vision within its timeline.
Therefore, it is important to consider these points and pray to God about your life so that you can live a purposeful life and achieve the vision He has placed within you.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask for Your guidance and wisdom to help me stay focused on the purpose You have given me.
