GOD PROTECTS HIS RIGHTEOUS

Psalm 37:39 (NKJV) says, “But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.”

This verse reminds us that God is the protector of the righteous. He watches over those who walk in His ways and live to please Him. When troubles come, God stands by their side and gives them strength to overcome. His protection is not just physical—it is also spiritual, emotional, and eternal.

To be righteous means to live a life that is right before God. It is not about being perfect, but about living in obedience to God's Word, repenting from sin, and trusting in Him daily. Those who live righteously are under God's covering and cannot be easily destroyed by evil.

But the wicked are not protected. The Bible is clear that those who live in sin are not under God’s safety. Proverbs 10:29 says, “The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.” Also, Isaiah 3:11 warns, “Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him.”

God’s protection is not for everyone—it is a blessing for those who follow Him.

One clear example in the Bible is Daniel. Though he lived in a foreign land surrounded by evil, Daniel remained righteous and faithful to God. Even when he was thrown into the lion’s den because of his prayers, God shut the lions’ mouths and kept him safe (Daniel 6:22). God protected Daniel because he was righteous and trusted in Him.

So, if you want God's protection, live righteously. Let your life reflect obedience, faith, and purity. Then, in times of trouble, God will be your help and strength.

Prayer: Lord, help me to live righteously so I may walk under Your protection always.

SEEK GOD SO YOU MAY LIVE

Amos 5:14 (NKJV) says, “Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken.”

This verse teaches us that many people say “God is with me,” but their actions are far from God. They claim to know God, but their lives are full of evil. Today, the world is full of people who speak about God with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him.

Look at many celebrities and social media influencers. Some of them sing songs that promote sin—encouraging people to fornicate, drink, disobey parents, or live in rebellion. They dress and dance naked in videos, change partners like clothes, and live without fear of God. But when you read their bios or hear their interviews, they say “I believe in God” or post Bible verses. This is confusion. Their words say they know God, but their actions deny Him.

Sadly, many young people now follow this same path. They live in sin and claim that God is still with them. But God is not mocked. His Word is clear: “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17 NKJV).

If you want to live—truly live—you must stop pursuing evil. You must seek what is good, what is right, what is pure. Doing evil destroys your life. When you chase after sinful things, you open yourself to pain, trouble, and even death. Why? Because God is not there to protect you.

If you truly want God to be with you as you claim, you must leave evil and pursue good. This is the only way to walk with God and to enjoy His protection, peace, and blessings.

Prayer: Lord, help me to stop evil and pursue good so I may live with You always.

PRAY IN A CORRECT WAY, STOP EMPTY CRIES

Job 35:13-14 (HCSB) says, “Indeed, God does not listen to empty cries, and the Almighty does not take note of it — how much less when you complainthat you do not see Him,that your case is before Himand you are waiting for Him.”

This verse teaches us something very important about prayer. Not every cry or prayer is accepted by God. Job’s friend, Elihu, is reminding Job that when people cry out to God without faith, trust, or repentance, their prayers become empty cries.

An empty cry is a prayer without heart, without faith, without obedience. It is a cry that sounds holy but means nothing.

Let’s look at Six ways people make empty cries:

1. Crying to God without faith – Some people pray but deep inside, they don’t believe God will help them. They don’t think God hears them or cares. Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him.”

2. Not trusting God’s judgment – Some cry out, but in their hearts, they feel like God is unfair. They complain, saying God blesses the wicked while they suffer.

3. Already having your own plan – You ask God for help, but you've already decided what you will do. You are depending on your own strength. That is not prayer—it is pretending. But Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

4. Crying without repentance – You keep living in sin, and refuse to change. You ignore God's voice but still expect Him to answer. That’s an empty cry.

5. Praying for your will, not God’s – You only want God to do what you want. You never ask, “Lord, is this Your will?” True prayer begins with seeking God's will first.

6. When you don’t have Patience – You've prayed for God but you don't wait for him to act. You are forcing him to answer you now and to give you what you want now. But God do things on his own time, he is never early or late, he answers in due time.

Real prayer is full of faith, trust, humility, and obedience. So, pray in a correct way and God will listen to you.

Prayer: Lord, help me to pray with faith, obedience, and a heart that seeks Your will. Amen

THE WISEST THING TO DO IN YOUR LIFE

Daniel 12:3 (GNT) says, “The wise leaders will shine with all the brightness of the sky. And those who have taught many people to do what is right will shine like the stars forever.”

This verse speaks about the reward God will give His faithful people on the last day. Those who live with wisdom and lead others to righteousness will shine like stars in the sky—forever. What a powerful promise!

Today, I want to teach you how to be wise so you can receive this reward. The Bible says in James 1:5 (NKJV), “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God...” This means wisdom comes from God, and He is willing to give it to anyone who asks.

When you receive God’s wisdom, you will learn how to live the right way and make decisions that please Him. You will also have the power to guide others.

The wisest thing you can ever do in life is to preach the Gospel—to help people turn away from sin and accept Jesus Christ. That is the kind of wisdom that brings eternal rewards.

Also, if you are a leader, whether at home, at work, in church, or in the community, you need God’s wisdom. A wise leader will shine now and shine later in eternity. When you lead with truth, kindness, and righteousness, God will make your life shine like a bright star.

If you truly want to be wise, start asking God for His wisdom, live a righteous life, and help others to follow the right path. That is the wisest thing to do.

Prayer: Lord, make me wise and help me lead others to righteousness, so I may shine forever.

YOUR HELP COMES FROM ABOVE

Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV) says, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”

There are times in life when no one understands your pain. You cry, but no one hears you. You explain your situation, but people still don't care or can’t help. Even those who love you the most are sometimes powerless to change your condition. In those moments, only God can help you.

In this Psalm, “mountains” represent strong places—people or institutions that seem powerful. Maybe you are sick, and the best hospitals cannot heal you. Maybe your heart is broken, and even the most experienced counselors cannot fix it. You may be searching for peace, love, or strength—but people keep disappointing you. The truth is, only God can truly help.

You may be surrounded by family and friends, but still feel alone. They promise to help, but do nothing. Some even speak badly about you behind your back. You may have trusted a rich or powerful person, thinking they would lift you, but they ignored or despised you instead.

David, the writer of this Psalm, faced such moments. But he chose to turn his eyes away from people and look up—to God. He said, “My help comes from the Lord.” That same God who created the heavens and the earth is the one watching over you.

He never sleeps. He never takes a break. He knows your pain and He cares. He will not forget you. So, my friend, stop depending on people who change. Stop looking at the mountains, turn your eyes and look at the mountains mover. Trust in the God who never fails. Your help comes from Him only.

Prayer: Lord, I lift my eyes to You alone. Be my help and my comfort always.

YOU MUST GO THROUGH THE PROCESS

Hebrews 5:8-9 (NKJV) says, “Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.”

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, went through a painful and difficult process. He was rejected, hated, falsely accused, betrayed, and crucified. But all of this was part of His journey to becoming the Savior of the world. It was not easy, but it was necessary.

Just like Jesus, every great man of God in the Bible went through trials before fulfilling their destiny. David was anointed king but spent years running from Saul. Abraham waited for years for the promise of a son. Elijah, after doing great miracles, was threatened, became depressed, and even wanted to die.

Hebrews 5:8 tells us that although Jesus was God’s Son, He learned obedience through suffering. That means suffering was His classroom—and it’s ours too.

In Deuteronomy 8:1-2, God says He allowed the Israelites to suffer in the wilderness to test them and to see if they would obey His commands. God uses trials to prepare us, humble us, and shape our hearts.

In Luke 22:31-32, when Satan wanted to test Peter, Jesus didn’t pray for the trial to be removed. Instead, He prayed for Peter’s faith to remain strong during the test. The goal was not to escape the suffering, but to come out of it with stronger faith.

Whatever you are going through today—pain, loss, waiting, betrayal—know that it’s part of God’s process. He is teaching you obedience, humility, and faith. Don’t give up. God will bring you out safely. And when you come out, your story will help others who are going through the same struggles.

Prayer: Lord, help me go through the process with faith. Make me strong through every trial.

FASTING IS FOR HUMILITY

Isaiah 58:6-7 (NIV) says, “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?  Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”

Fasting is not about changing God. It is about changing yourself. Many people fast thinking they can force God to move on their behalf. But true fasting is about humbling yourself and putting your heart in the right position to receive God’s help and direction.

In Isaiah 58, God was not pleased with how people were fasting. They were seeking God, yet they continued in sin. They fasted but still fought, quarreled, and mistreated others. God reminded them that fasting is a time of humility, not pride—a time of repentance, not self-pity.

Many people fast and see no results because they do it the wrong way. Fasting is not just about skipping meals. It is about checking your heart and changing your behavior.

God explains in Isaiah 58:2-7 what we should do during fasting:

1. Loose the chains of injustice – Stop mistreating people or supporting unfair practices.

2. Untie the cords of the yoke – Help people who are under pressure, stress, or bondage.

3. Set the oppressed free – Be part of someone’s healing, not their pain.

4. Break every yoke – Let go of anything that holds others or yourself down.

5. Share food with the hungry – Be generous during your fast.

6. Provide shelter to the homeless – Care for those in need.

7. Clothe the naked – Bless someone in need of clothes or basic help.

8. Care for your own family – Don’t ignore your responsibilities at home.

Fasting is not about looking spiritual—it’s about acting with love, kindness, and humility. That’s the kind of fasting that touches God’s heart.

Prayer: Lord, help me fast with humility and love, not pride or selfishness. Change my heart.

A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART

Acts 13:22 says, “And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’”

This verse shows something powerful: God is searching for people who care about what He cares about—people who are ready to do His will completely. When God said, “I have found,” it means He was looking. That tells us clearly: God is searching.

Many people are busy seeking God, but few understand that there is another level—when God is the one seeking you. David didn’t only find God, but God found him! Why? Because David’s heart matched God’s heart. He wanted what God wanted. He obeyed God.

Today, I want to advise you: Be someone God is searching for. Let your life be in line with His desires. Let Him look into the earth and say, “I have found you—a man or woman after My own heart.”

How can you become this kind of person? The answer is simple but strong:

● Make God’s agenda your agenda.

● Obey Him even when it’s hard.

● Sacrifice your selfish desires if they don’t please God.

● Be obedient, live a life that says “Yes, Lord” every day.

When your desires die and God’s will lives through you, then you are truly after God’s heart. God will raise you, bless you, honor you, and use you in a great way. There is no shortcut. It is the way of obedience, sacrifice, and full surrender.

Prayer: Lord, make me a person after Your own heart, willing to do all Your will.

YOU BELONG TO GOD’S FAMILY

Ephesians 2:19 (NKJV) — “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”

This verse tells us something powerful: when we accept Jesus Christ, we are not outsiders anymore. We are now part of God’s household. That means we are part of His family—just like sons and daughters. God is not far from us. He is close. He is our Father.

Being a member of God's family means you are not alone. You have a place. You belong. God loves you. You are accepted just as you are. It also means you share in all the blessings of His household. You can enjoy His peace, protection, wisdom, healing, and provision.

As a believer, you are not an outcast. Don't let your past, your weaknesses, or your failures tell you otherwise. You must see yourself the way God sees you. He calls you His child. That makes you important and valuable.

Stop approaching God as if you are a stranger. Go to Him boldly. Talk to Him as a loving Father. Ask Him for what you need without fear. Don’t feel small. Don’t feel unworthy. Jesus made you worthy. Through Him, you are part of the family.

Let go of every feeling of inferiority. You have the right to live with confidence. You are not less than others. You are God’s own. Walk with boldness. Speak with boldness. Live with boldness. Why? Because you belong to God’s family.

Prayer: Thank You, Father, for making me Your child. Help me walk boldly in Your love.

BE WISE, SPEAK LESS

Proverbs 17:27 NKJV says; He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

Wise people know how to speak carefully, and people with understanding are calm and peaceful even when things go wrong. In our daily relationships—whether at home, in marriage, at work, or in business—this wisdom is very important.

In family life, it is easy to speak too quickly when we are upset. But the Bible teaches us to use our words wisely. When we control our tongue and stay calm, we create peace in the home. Children grow well in peaceful homes, and parents enjoy stronger bonds with each other.

In marriage, many problems start with careless words and anger. A wise husband or wife learns to listen more, speak less, and avoid shouting or harsh words. Peace in marriage is not automatic—it is built with patience, understanding, and the ability to control emotions.

In the workplace, a calm person brings solutions, not problems. People trust and respect those who are peaceful and do not speak too much or cause confusion. Many doors open for those who know how to maintain peace with co-workers, clients, and bosses.

In business, peace helps relationships grow stronger. Customers stay longer and partners trust more when you are calm and respectful. Even when you are right, being gentle can help you win more than raising your voice.

Peace in relationships is a treasure. It brings happiness, strength, and unity. You should pray for the wisdom to keep peace, speak wisely, and act calmly even during challenges.

Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom to speak with love and stay calm in every relationship I have.

HEPHZIBAH – GOD’S DELIGHT IS IN YOU THIS NEW SEASON

As we step into the month of July—the gateway to the second half of the year—God is releasing a prophetic word over your life: “You shall be called Hephzibah, for the Lord delights in you.” (Isaiah 62:4 NKJV).

This is not just a beautiful name; it's a divine declaration. Hephzibah means “My delight is in her”. In the past months, you may have experienced delays, disappointment, confusion, or what felt like divine silence. But the Lord says: You shall no longer be called Forsaken!

Just as the first half of the year may have felt like a season of desolation, the Lord is now turning the page to a new chapter. July marks a new beginning. This is not just a calendar shift; it is a spiritual shift. God is giving you a new identity, one not based on your past or your pain, but on His love and purpose.

In this new season, God is calling you Hephzibah—because He takes pleasure in you. That means He is not ashamed of you. He is not distant. He is near, He is watching, and He is about to act. Where others saw shame, God will bring honor. Where there was lack, He will bring increase. Where doors were closed, He will open new ones.

Your life, your business, your family, and your dreams are about to experience the delight of the Lord. July will not be like the months that passed. This is a time of healing, favor, fruitfulness, and restoration.

The second half of the year is pregnant with possibility. Just as the land was once called “Desolate” but later “Beulah” (meaning Married), you are entering into a season of divine connection and covenant blessings. You will no longer struggle alone. You will no longer walk in circles. The favor of God will speak for you.

Declare it:
“I am not forsaken. I am Hephzibah. God delights in me. July is my month of new beginnings, and the second half of this year will be my best yet—in Jesus' name.”

Welcome to a season of joy, increase, and divine delight. God bless you. 🙏

GIVE THEM TIME

Romans 14:1 – “Welcome those who are weak in faith, but do not argue with them about their personal opinions."

This verse shows God’s heart toward people who are still growing. He knows not everyone is at the same level in faith. Some are strong, some are weak, and some are just starting. God is not asking us to argue with them or correct them harshly—He is asking us to accept them with love.

It is a natural law that everything starts small before it becomes big. A baby doesn’t run on the first day. A seed doesn’t become a tree in one night. Everything needs time to grow.

It is the same with people. In life, we all need time to grow—in marriage, in ministry, in business, and in faith. When you start something new or enter a new season, you will make mistakes. That doesn’t mean you are not called or that you don’t belong. It simply means you need time.

God knows that growth takes time. That’s why He teaches us not to judge people too quickly. Romans 14:1 is God’s reminder that even when someone is weak in faith or doesn’t understand things the way we do, we should still receive them. God is patient with them—we should be too.

This is also a leadership skill—learning to be patient with people’s growth. In church, at work, and in our homes, we often want people to be like us right away. But God is asking us to be patient. Give your spouse time to grow in love and understanding. Give your worker time to learn their job. Give the new believer time to grow in faith.

The truth is, with time, love, and patience, people grow.

Prayer: Lord, help me to love others with patience and give them time to grow and change.

DECIDE TO CHANGE

Hebrews 11:24 – “By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter."

This verse shows us something powerful: Moses made a decision to change. He had every reason to stay in the palace and enjoy the easy life of Egypt. But by faith, he chose a different path. He made a decision that changed his future and the future of a whole nation.

In the same way, everyone on earth has a chance to change. It doesn’t matter how you were born or the kind of family you come from. Maybe your life now is the way it is because of your background, or maybe your family is under a curse. But the truth is this: God has given you a chance to change.

Hebrews 11:24 says, “By faith…” That means there was no physical proof that Moses would be great. His decision was not based on what he could see. His faith pushed him to act. You also need faith to say no to the life you’re living now if it’s not helping you.

You can say no to poverty and start working hard. You can say no to bad habits and begin living differently. You can say no to the spiritual dryness in your life. You can say, “I don’t want to remain this way.” If you are not happy with how you are today, you can decide to change.

Just like Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, you too can refuse to be who the devil wants you to be. Refuse to stay in sin. Refuse to stay in fear. Refuse to live a useless life. Choose to believe, and God will change you and use you.

Prayer: Lord, I refuse to stay the same. Help me walk in Your purpose and change.

GOD KNOWS YOU AND HE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU

“For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.” — Psalms 1:6 (NKJV)

Life can sometimes feel unfair. You might find yourself in situations where people misunderstand you, misjudge your intentions, or accuse you of things you never did. Your heart may be heavy with sadness, especially when you try to explain yourself but no one seems to listen or believe you.

There are seasons when you work hard, give your best, and walk in integrity, yet your efforts go unnoticed. You may watch others who cut corners, gossip, or lie rise in favor and promotions, while you remain unappreciated and overlooked.

But today, I want to encourage you: God sees. God knows. And God fights.

Psalm 1:6 reminds us that the Lord knows the way of the righteous. That means He is fully aware of your journey, your heart, your labor, and your pain. You're not hidden from Him. Every time you choose integrity over compromise, truth over deceit, or patience over vengeance, God takes note.

In Psalms 37:1-6, God tells you: "Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday."

So, don’t give up. Don’t lose heart. God knows your name, your work, your tears, and your silence. And in due time, He will fight for you, lift you up, and silence every false voice.

Prayer: (Psalm 10:17-18) LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more.
